Cheesy Saucy Burritos?

YES PLEASE!! 🌯 🌯 🌯

Hey you!

After one of the busiest weeks… I finally have some time to myself! I’m so ready for a little downtime! 😅 I’ll be soaking up every moment with the kids and catching up on some work, too.

This week’s letter is packed with a few special things I couldn’t wait to share with you—a peek at our Halloween memories and a dinner recipe that brings back so many memories. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do! ❤️

Oh, and I’ve got a fun giveaway coming up soon, so keep an eye on IG for all the details!

Halloween Recap

Last week was a whirlwind! I was so busy between Diwali parties and Halloween, I feel like I’m finally settling in now! 😴 We had Halloween parties for the parents, which meant dressing up, a few cocktails, and all the laughs. It’s always so fun seeing all our friends dress up, this year we had a group theme and dressed up at the Scooby-Doo squad 😂. Again… SO MUCH FUN!

And of course trick-or-treating with the kids is always a must! This year the family did a cops and robbers theme (I got away with wearing a cute little donut outfit) and everyone was so into it this year. Watching them race from house to house in their little costumes was priceless. Let’s just say we’ve got enough candy to last until next Halloween… or at least until next week! 😆

Beauty Faves

I recently stopped by Ulta to restock some of my favorites. Here are a few things I think would be perfect to keep in your purse for when you’re on the go!

The Clinique Mini Moisture Surge is my absolute must for a fresh, hydrated base. I love using it under my makeup for a smooth, dewy glow or even on its own when I’m going for that natural look. It’s travel-friendly, so it’s always with me to keep my skin nourished on the go.

  • Hydration that lasts up to 100 hours

  • Packed with aloe vera and hyaluronic acid

  • Lightweight and perfect for all skin types

The Too Faced Born This Way Palette I use when I want versatile eye looks that go from soft to glam. The shades blend so easily, and I especially love using the warm, neutral tones for a bit of depth and richness—perfect for day and night!

  • Includes 16 skin-tone-inspired shades

  • Offers matte, shimmer, and metallic finishes

Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey has been going viral recently, and for all the right reasons! I love that it adapts to my lips and it’s super easy to build up, so I can swipe once for a hint of color or layer for a bolder look when I’m in the mood.

  • Sheer, buildable berry shade

  • Lightweight, moisturizing formula

  • Perfect for any occasion and quick touch-ups

For my hair, the OUAI Leave-In Conditioner is my secret to soft, frizz-free locks. After washing, I spray it on damp hair for easy styling that lasts all day. It keeps my hair shiny and manageable without weighing it down, which I love!

  • Detangles, hydrates, and protects from heat

  • Nourishing yet lightweight for all hair types

  • Leaves hair smooth, sleek, and frizz-free

This is a must have for my restock ALWAYS!

The Eylure Pre-Glued Clusters are the perfect way to elevate your look with a subtle, natural lift. These are designed specifically for your lower lash line and since they come pre-glued, it’s super easy to apply—just peel and place! You can customize your look, whether you want a full effect or just a hint of definition. I also love how comfortable they are, so you can wear ‘em all day!

Fits of the Week

Staying cozy is a MUST on travel day! I’m rocking a taupe jogger set with a white tank for a little contrast, and I’ve got my matching sweatshirt draped over my shoulders. This whole sweatsuit is an Amazon find – they always comes through with stylish and budget-friendly options. I packed my essentials in my black quilted YSL tote and the Beis 21” carry-on roller suitcase, so I'm all set for a comfy trip!

I felt so elegant in this golden ensemble by Ridhi Mehra. The detailed embroidery and flowing silhouette made it perfect for a formal day event, bringing together classic and modern styles with the fitted bodice and flared skirt. And that sheer dupatta… such a dreamy touch! 😍 To complete the look, I paired it with a gorgeous jewelry set by Sanzany Jewels. The deep green stones and pendant added a rich pop of color that complemented the outfit beautifully.

This look feels vibrant and versatile – perfect for celebrating! This red pant set from Lashkaraa is decorated with beautiful gold embroidery, and it brings that traditional feel to the modern silhouette. The matching long jacket adds some flair, while Jaipurr Rose's statement earrings and the unique poker-themed bag from Simitri Shop bring a playful, personal touch.

Recipe of the Week

Okay, this recipe is super close to my heart because my mom used to make it for us when we were kids, and now I have the pleasure of making it for my own kids and sharing it with you! You have to give these a try—they’re so yummy!

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Baking Dish: Pour a layer of La Victoria sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.

  2. Assemble the Burritos:

    • Lay out a tortilla, fill it with beans, veggies, and a sprinkle of cheese.

    • Fold the tortilla and place it in the baking dish, seam side down.

  3. Add Sauce & Toppings:

    • Pour more La Victoria sauce over the burritos, ensuring they’re well-drenched.

    • Top with extra shredded cheese and diced onions.

  4. Bake:

    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    • Bake for 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  5. Finish with Fresh Toppings:

    • Once out of the oven, top with shredded lettuce, sour cream, green onions, and salsa.

Enjoy your saucy, cheesy burritos! 😊 🌯
