Happy New Years!! 🍾
and love from India 🥰

Hey you! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
🎉 🎉🥂🥂🎉🎉🥂🥂🎉🎉
🎉 🎉🍾🍾🎉🎉🍾🍾🎉🎉
Last newsletter of 2024! 🥹 This journey we started back in June has been such a special part of my year, and thank you so much for being part of it. Whether you’ve been here since day one or just joined along the way, I appreciate every click, every read, and every reply! Your words always mean so much! 🥰
As we head into the new year, I hope it’s filled with love, joy, and peace for you and your family. ❤️ Let’s step into 2025 with open hearts and the belief that it’s a year full of opportunities and exciting possibilities!
In this letter, I’m sharing some gorgeous jewelry I’ve been loving, updates from India (spoiler alert: it’s been amazing so far!), and my top photoshoot tips for traveling!
Beauty Faves
These stunning Samak Earrings are a personal favorite because of their incredible craftsmanship. I love the blend of glass beads, which give them an elegant feel that instantly elevates any look!
Imagine these earrings with like a with a sleek black dress or a traditional saree or lehenga?? SO CUTE! 😍
I’ve loved soo many other pieces from Deepa Gurnani and have some favorites linked on my LTK. These earrings are just one of the many timeless and versatile pieces they offer!

If you love customizable and stylish jewelry, BaubleBar has so many stunning options to choose from! I love the The Custom Click & Go Bracelet (such a thoughtful gift)—you can add a name or word that’s meaningful to you or someone special, making it suuuper personal and unique! Or, if you need a good quality piece for everyday wear or layering with other bracelets, the Nadia hinge is also a popular choice!
India So Far
We made it to India! 🤩
Traveling with eight people? Let’s just say it’s an adventure in itself 😅. Between long airport walks, trying not to lose passports, and juggling carry-ons… it was hectic in the best way.
The first few days were spent with family in Hanuman Bhagda and my heart was so full! It’s a once in a lifetime experience to have our kids see and roam around the same places our parents grew up! Such a humbling experience not only for Veeral and I, but also our kids! ❤️

Next stop ➡️ ➡️ ➡️ Udaipur.
The City of Lakes, this place is just pure magic! I posted our family photoshoot on my stories and ended getting a ton of questions, so thought I’d share some tips.
Family Photoshoot 🤝 Traveling
We planned a shoot at the gorgeous Taj Lake Palace, and the pics turned out AMAZING… thanks to @clickstoremember. But a few lessons learned along the way:
Check the weather! We moved our shoot last minute because rain was in the forecast, and thank goodness we did. The morning we originally planned was a washout—literally!
Know your hotel’s rules. Some high-end resorts, like the Taj, don’t allow outside photographers unless they’re staying as guests. We had to use their in-house photographer, which cost about $500 USD (pricey for India), but he was worth it! He knew all the best spots, and we wrapped up in just an hour.
Plan your outfits to match the location. For Rajasthan, I went with rich, royal colors, and the blue tones were just chef’s kiss against the stunning palace backdrop.
Pro tip: In other countries, I’ve used Flytographer to find great local photographers. They didn’t have many options for India, but it’s a fab resource for your next trip!

I shared more pics here! 😍
Can You DIY Your Family Pics?
I’ve been getting DMs about whether you can take photos on your phone, and the answer is YES, totally! You can snap all you want, but most resorts won’t let you bring in outside vendors who aren’t guests.
For quick moments, honestly, phone pics can be just as special. ✨
This dress from Macy’s was an absolute dream for our photoshoot. The rich blue tones perfectly matched the royal ambiance of the location 😍, and the flowy silhouette for touch of elegance. Plus, with the whole family’s outfits coordinated to match the setting, everything came together beautifully!!
I’m posting more on my IG stories with updates from our travels. I’ll cover Jaipur next! 💖
Here’s to an incredible year ahead!
