Life Lately

I’ve been super busy with my little soccer star, Kai, kicking off his season with the team ⚽️. Dad couldn’t be more thrilled to coach the kids this year, and watching them out there together is the sweetest thing! It’s been hectic trying to keep up with practices and games, but I’m loving every bit of this soccer mom life. 🥰

Meanwhile, my oldest is off on a one-week school trip to Catalina! His first big adventure to kick off middle school!

It’s all about bonding with his classmates, and I can’t believe how fast he’s growing up. Watching him gain independence in moments like this makes me so proud 🥰. I love that schools create these opportunities—it’s so important for our kids to connect, make new friends, and get to know their teachers outside the classroom. Experiences like these are such a beautiful way for them to build confidence and create long lasting memories!

And speaking of excitement, I’m gearing up for the LTK Awards in Dallas!!

I still can’t believe I’m nominated! I’m up for “Beauty All-Star,” and being listed among such big names feels surreal. I’m so grateful for all your love and support—it means the world! ❤️ 

I’m already planning my outfits since there’s a theme for each day, I’ll share everything on my stories. Check out the itinerary they have planned for us so far!

A Day In Harvard

This week was very special as Veeral went back to his alma mater, Harvard Business School (HBS Class of 2007). HBS courses are designed using the "case method", which allows students to learn through immersive discussions designed around actual companies and the most critical decisions facing their leadership teams. 

The Healthcare Initiative at HBS decided to write a case about Agilon Health, the company Veeral helped to found and build over the last 8 years. Veeral served as the "protagonist" featured in the case (e.g., the senior leader making a critical decision impacting the future of the company). This case was written by Professor Regina Herzlinger. She’s a legend at HBS— the first female teaching professor and a staple of the faculty for over 50 years. 👏

Veeral actually sat in her very same class "Innovating in Healthcare" 18 years ago! 

On Tuesday, Professor Herzlinger invited Veeral back to campus to co-lead the Agilon case discussion for second-year business students. What made it even more special was that our Mila made the trip to HBS and joined the class! 🥰 

A pinch me moment for any business school student and for our family!

Garba Raas

I’m so excited to invite you to our 3rd Annual LA Garba Raas Night 2024 on September 29th! 🎉

This night isn’t just about the celebration; it’s about giving back. Proceeds from the event will support TeachAAPI and SevaSphere— two incredible causes!
